Back in the 1990's, there was a great show on TBS (channel 12) on Saturday night at 1:15 am called Gilgamesh Night. An unrepentant sex show that served as an hour of titillating entertainment for viewers, the show launched the careers of many 90's JAV stars, such as Ai Iijima, Fumie Hosokawa, and Yuki Maiko. The bizarre sexual shenanigans included mini-skirt sumo wrestling, in which girls had to pull down their opponents skirts; a spot where girls had to race to melt an ice penis with their mouths in order to win a diamond ring frozen inside; and Yuki Maiko's famous cooking show, performed in an apron and nothing else. Alas, time and tide waits for no man, and the show was taken off the air some years later. TV was too limiting, since nudity could not be shown, and satellite and cable TV was coming to the fore, and so the Benny Hill of Japan faded slowly away.
Now the spirit of Gilgamesh Night is back, with a new release of erotic game shows by Soft on Demand. Featuring a whole slew of erotic sports that harkens back to the days of Gilgamesh Night, five sexy contestants compete for big money while they entertain you.
The first contest is "guess what this is." While wearing sexy bikinis, various objects are pressed against the girls, and they must tell what the items are. Next, there's a kissing contest, with the girls showing their expertise at "deep kiss." The most innovative piece was "bukkake golf," in which girls take turns jerking off guys, whose sperm act as golf balls that slowly make their way to the cup. The girls really get into it as they try to choose guys who look like their can shoot their wads farther than the others. Finally, there's "panty fishing," in which a girl wearing special panties must catch a fish using her inner leg muscles.
This is a SOD title, so it's got their trademark wacky style and disregard for stuffy, patronizing erotica. It's pure fun, and the fact that the girls are playing for money makes it even more authentic.
This DVD is 120 minutes in length and is zoned for all regions.
