The product that helped put Soft on Demand on the map back in the mid 1990's was the smash hit Deep Kiss series, created by Chie Sugawara, a former female AD (assistant director) in Japan's indies adult video industry. A bold and fresh series, Chie would walk around Yokohama or Shonan's sunny beaches and approach girls with a proposition: if they'd come into a private studio and agree to kiss each other for the camera, they'd get paid a few hundred dollars. The series became a hit and Chie is now president of SOD's massive $72 million dollar enterprise.
Now it's time for the flame to pass on. Female Director Haruna, formerly known as AD Haruna, is taking over the series, adding her own fresh touch to it. As before, the DVDs feature beautiful amateur Japanese girls off the street -- with no "fake" amateurs who are really wanna-be adult film stars -- aged 18-21. The camera is turned on, and at the direction of Haruna, the girls start to see what its like to "deep kiss" with another female.
As usual, the Deep Kiss series is erotic and pleasing to watch. But Haruna adds her own touch, too, sometimes taking over for the girls to show how true lesbian kissing should be done. Improvements in video quality and a line up of really beautiful Japanese girls make this a super DVD for collectors.
